Sheree Welshimer is a freelance writer who especially enjoys writing upbeat stories with a message. Her writing inspirations come from her varied experiences as an elementary teacher, newspaper reporter, veterinary assistant and sheep farmer. She is an avid cyclist who has logged thousands of miles touring the Pacific Northwest and British Columbia.

Sheree’s husband dubbed her the “canary” years ago because she, like the yellow birds, is highly sensitive to chemicals and pollution in the environment. Sheree has become an allergy expert. She has looked for ways to manage her own environmental allergies, and food sensitivities to dairy, gluten, eggs, yeast and nuts.  Idaho is home to Sheree and her husband. With an arsenal of allergy information, she has been able to keep her allergies at bay on her bicycling adventures.
